An AI kiss video is not done when you type “romantic kiss.” Three things decide the clip: whether both faces in the source image are clear, whether the prompt contains only one action, and whether the camera locks the mouths and the hands. A 5- to 8-second close-up holds up far better than a 15-second shot that kisses, hugs, and turns away.
This guide follows the Reelme Kiss Generator workflow: one couple photo, or two separate portraits, turned into a short clip with natural lip contact. Use only adult faces you have the rights to animate. Do not run private photos of people who have not agreed.
👍Pick the workflow first
Do not mix these three jobs.
One couple photo to video. Both people are already in the same frame, faces large, mouths unobstructed. This is the most stable path. The model only has to add the tilt, the eye close, and the lip contact.
Two separate portraits merged into a kiss. The tool has to match head size, light, and angle on its own. It can work, but it needs more retries. Keep the lighting similar, and use front-facing or slightly angled shots.
Text to video. Fine for templates such as a rainy alley, a stadium kiss cam, or a fantasy forest. Poor if you need a specific real face. If identity matters, use image-to-video.
For the first pass, use the shortest duration the tool allows. Use vertical 9:16 for Reels and TikTok. Use 16:9 only when both faces still read large in the frame.
📏Photo rules
A usable photo has both faces large, in focus, and roughly the same size. Eyes and mouths are not blocked by hands, phones, or sunglasses. The light matches: daylight or warm indoor light beats flash. The heads are already turned slightly toward each other.
A photo fails when one person is tiny in the background, a profile reduces the mouth to a line, a beauty filter erases skin texture, or a warm selfie is paired with a cold office shot. Crop until the faces fill the frame, then generate.
📚The prompt formula
Do not write “romantic kiss.” Write the physical action, then the camera and the light.
The structure is: who + one kiss action + where the hands go + eyes + setting + light + camera + style.
Four lines matter more than adjectives:
- One action per clip. Lean in, contact, hold. Do not also hug, turn, and walk away.
- Name the head tilt. It reduces nose crashes.
- Give the hands a place to rest. Free hands grow extra fingers.
- Eyes close on contact. Do not stare into the lens through the kiss.
A negative prompt you can append to every block:
face melt, extra fingers, extra arms, teeth morph, duplicate face, third person, cartoon, plastic skin, watermark, text, fast camera shake, open-mouth stare at camera, identity change
❤️12 prompts you can paste
Change hair and clothing so they match the reference. Do not describe accessories the photo does not have.
1. Cinematic first kiss
Medium close-up of two adults under warm streetlights at dusk. She tilts her head slightly to her right and they share a slow first kiss, eyes closing on contact. His hand rests on her cheek, her hand on his shoulder. Soft wind in her hair, shallow depth of field, filmic color, gentle camera push-in, photorealistic skin with visible pores, stable faces, no identity change.
2. Golden-hour close-up
Close-up of a young adult couple, woman with long dark hair and man with short brown hair, already close. She tilts her head and kisses him softly on the lips, eyes closing. His hand rests gently on her waist. Warm golden-hour sunlight from the left, soft bokeh, natural skin texture, slow smooth motion, photorealistic, cinematic, stable identity.
3. Rainy alley
4. Stadium kiss cam
5. Penthouse at night
Interior penthouse at night, city lights through floor-to-ceiling glass, warm practical lamps. Two adults in elegant casual clothes share a slow lean-in kiss, eyes closing, his hand on her waist. Shallow depth of field, photorealistic, quiet intimate mood, clothes on, no explicit exposure, stable faces.
6. Cafe terrace
7. Lake dock
8. Short kitchen kiss
9. Japanese alley, restrained
10. Fantasy forest
11. Anime (illustrated only — do not mix into a real photo)
12. Pet head kiss (gag clip — not mouth to mouth)
🌱How to review the clip
Watch the whole clip, not the cover frame.
- The faces at the end still match the source, not only frame one.
- The lips actually meet. A gap reads as a filter fail.
- The noses do not merge.
- Hands that enter frame have a normal finger count.
- No third face appears in the background.
- The motion is one beat: approach, contact, hold.
When a clip fails, change the photo first, then shorten the duration, and only then switch models. A kiss that misses at 5 seconds will not fix itself at 10.
❓️FAQ
①Can two separate photos kiss?
Yes. Use one clear adult portrait per person, with similar light and head size. Expect more retries than with a real couple photo.
②Why do faces melt at the end?
The source is too small, too dark, or over-filtered, or the prompt asked for too many actions. Crop tighter and describe only the tilt and the lip contact.
③Do I still need a prompt if the tool has a Kiss button?
The button is enough for a peck. Rain, arena light, head direction, and hand placement come from the prompt.
④How long should the clip be?
Five to six seconds for the first clean contact. Extend only after the kiss already holds.
⑤What line reduces nose crashes?
Add “she tilts her head slightly to her right, eyes closing on contact.”
For a public page, the restrained version is the one to publish: lip contact, eyes closed, clothes on. Those clips are also less likely to be filtered.
